I am so glad I can work and work more efficiently in the studio with the changes that have been made to both the space and the various pieces of equipment. The studio has two sewing machines and thoughts of a third one at some point. The spinning wheel is here as well. The two cats are happy among the things that are familiar to them from the other house.
The three wild animal inserts was smocked this past week and is in the process of becoming a little boys romper with a shirt. The outfit is not done yet but here it is so you can get an idea. The construction inserts are next, and I am anxious to see how they look. I got half of one of the constructions insert done yesterday and was pleased with how it looks and will look when finished.
What has been and still is your favorite activity during this time of social distancing? Do you have a favorite past time? Any quilts that have been started or sweaters that are being knit? Has anyone started making presents for Christmas to pass the time?
With fall coming on fast, it is still a waiting game to see if the craft shows that everyone knows, and loves will be held as usual or canceled. Times and dates will be posted as soon as I have information. Sign up as a subscriber and I will send you updates as they happen.
